Gen V and The Wheel of Time season 2 are giving superhero and fantasy fans reasons to be glued to Amazon Prime Video in September. There's even NFL games too.
There will not be a new season of The Boys in 2023, but Amazon Prime Video has the next best thing. Gen V, the spinoff from The Boys, is arriving at the end of this month, and it’s bringing the franchise’s darkly comedic take on superheroes to college as the next generation of supes learns what it means to be heroes. But if this new crew is anything like The Seven, then they won’t be very heroic at all.
And you don’t have to wait long to get your fantasy action fix. The Wheel of Time season 2 is starting on September 1, and the adaptation of Robert Jordan’s novels will kick things up to another level as the battle against evil continues. For more down to earth action, the new season of Thursday Night Football officially kicks off on September 14. Beyond that, Prime Video has plenty of movies and classic TV series to keep you entertained throughout the month.
