Former Jedi Knight and rebel spy Ahsoka Tano will become part of the Disneyland attraction next spring.
Walt Disney Imagineering is making good on a promise to add more destinations to the Star Tours flight itinerary and new heroes to the cast of characters that riders will meet along their interstellar journey in Tomorrowland at Disneyland.
“I can’t reveal just where we’re going yet — or those we may meet along the way,”Imagineering Portfolio Creative Executive Scott Trowbridge wrote on the Disney Parks Blog.Imagineering hasn’t said yet, but Ahsoka’s addition to the mission offers clues about where the Starspeeder 1000 could be heading.according to Touring Plans
“During the age of the Empire, it fell under Imperial occupation, as farmers were kicked off their land and enormous TIE fighter and weapons factories were built,”. “While most of the population felt powerless in the face of Imperial rule, a select few dared to fight back.” But the destination most Ahsoka fans would love to visit on Star Tours would be the World Between Worlds — a collection of pathways and doors between time and space. Unlocking the World Between Worlds grants the keyholder unimaginable power, according to StarWars.com.An Ahsoka journey might include encounters with Assassin droid HK-87, Chopper droid C1-10P or even Grand Admiral Thrawn.
