It’s certainly not panic time around Santa Clara yet. That will come should Garoppolo struggle and show the same rust in an all-important Week 3 outing against the Kansas City Chiefs. Coleman put up 21 yards on three touches, including a 12-yard run to open the game. He hit the holes hard and showed tremendous change of direction ability. It’s definitely a good sign for the 49ers, especially if their passing game is going to be in a drought early in the regular season. It also follows up a tremendous off-season performance from Coleman.in indicating that the former No. 3 overall pick should be traded for offensive line help.
