Covid-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths continue, but some world leaders have signaled that the viral disease may not be a health emergency much longer. Is the pandemic over?

The FDA authorized newly modified Covid-19 boosters to target the latest versions of the Omicron variant. But, as WSJ’s Daniela Hernandez explains, a key part of the decision-making process was changed with these new shots.
