It's going to be another stormy day in the San Francisco Bay Area as a powerful area of low pressure spins off the coast.
is expected to move southward along the California coast Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing rain and wind to the Bay Area.
Rain rates are expected to range from moderate to heavy. Some urban flooding on roadways and other low-lying areas as well as rises on streams and creeks are possible. The coastal mountains of the North Bay are forecast to see the highest rainfall totals Tuesday and Wednesday, receiving up to 2 inches. The rest of the Bay Area is expected to generally pick up 1 to 1.5 inches.
