Other chains across the country also will have deals celebrating the American classic. CHICAGO – Fans of the cheeseburger might think they truly are in paradise beginning Monday, Sept. 18. That’s when McDonalds, Wendy’s, Burger King and other restaurants will offer deals to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day.
The day honors an American classic. As the Jimmy Buffett sang in his classic: “Makin’ the best of every virtue and vice, worth every damn bit of sacrifice.” To celebrate the day, several national chains are offering deals. Some have limits on the number of burgers you can purchase. Others require you to download the restaurant phone app.
Chicago-based McDonald’s will offer its Double Cheeseburger for 50 cents. No other purchase is necessary, butWendy’s will offer an even cheaper deal: A Junior Bacon Cheeseburger for a penny, with any purchase. It also must be done through the restaurant’s app. That offer will run all week,
