The Chicago White Sox have played 25 games, and their start is one of the worst they’ve registered in club history.
The Chicago White Sox came into the season with high hopes for the 2023 season, but things have not gone according to plan after consecutive series sweeps at the hands of the Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays.

The White Sox have not won a series all season long, and now stand at 7-18 on the season, including a 4-12 mark away from Guaranteed Rate Field.
According to the Elias Sports Bureau and other outlets, the 7-18 mark for the White Sox matches the worst start they’ve had to a season during the expansion era of Major League Baseball, which began in 1961. The last time the White Sox started a season 7-18 was back in 1986, when they ultimately finished with a 72-90 record, 20 games behind the American League West champions that season.
