The World Health Organization has documented 226 Russian attacks on health facilities in Ukraine since Moscow invaded its neighbor in February.

"So that's the impact of those attacks. And those attacks are continuing, which is unacceptable. There is no reason for that," Habicht said. Habicht said the WHO has taken steps to support Ukraine's health system. He noted that the agency has delivered more than 500 metric tons of medical supplies to the hardest-hit areas of the country since February.

He added the WHO is"very glad" that some governments and partners are also delivering medical supplies to Ukraine.
