The royal couple were joined by 25 of their closet friends and family at the intimate ceremony which was closed off to the press. They later shared two official images from the event: a black and white image of just Harry, Meghan and Archie, and another which included Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Doria Ragland, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.has reported that Charlie van Straubenzee has been chosen as one of Archie's godparents.
Prince Harry and Van Straubenzee have been friends since childhood after attending Ludgrove Prep School together. The duke was best man at Van Straubenzee's wedding to Daisy Jenks in 2018, and Van Straubenzee was an usher at his royal wedding last year.The duke and duchess have a very close-knit and private social circle, many of whom were seen supporting the royal couple at their wedding last year, and at Meghan's baby shower earlier this year.
