Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLCs that are part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC pack will introduce new creatures to the franchise, some of which have already been revealed. The two new DLCs for the popular Nintendo Switch games were officially announced during the Pokémon Presents livestream in February 2023. The short videos each one received showed a bit of what players can expect thematically from the new expansions.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY The DLCs that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will receive through the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero are The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk. While a few new and returning Pokémon are expected from these expansions, two never-before-seen creatures have been presented, one for each expansion. Unlike previous rumors, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC will actually be two pieces of content instead of only one, and this will result in at least two Legendaries.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk’s Pokémon Is Terapagos The other Legendary Pokémon revealed for Scarlet and Violet is Terapagos. While players are exploring the ocean all around Blueberry Academy, they will encounter this turtle-like creature, which is set to be the main Pokémon for the second DLC in the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero pack, The Indigo Disk.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will get new Legendaries and even more with the two DLCs part of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero on the way. Little information about both Ogrepon and Terapagos has actually been revealed. Additionally, a few extra Pokémon from The Teal Mask DLC have already been announced. The creatures featured in the key art are Monkidori, Okidogi, and Fezandipiti, according to Serebii.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLCs from Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk, will release in Fall 2023 and Winter 2023, respectively. None of the presented Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet’s DLCs seem to be Paradox creatures and the ones that had leaked are being added through an in-game event rather than through an expansion. Nintendo seems to be keen on expanding Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s lifespan and these DLCs may be just the start.
