Salt Lake City leaders are weighing a potential zoning change that would allow for taller skyscrapers among other changes to the downtown area.

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah's capital city is projected to continue to grow, but it is running out of open land to build on.

The council is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the matter later this month before potentially voting on it in May.There are several parts to the proposed changes, but height might be the most noticeable off the bat.
