There's more than one kind of power arch.
to my little sister, it seems like everyone wants full, filled-in brows. And there was a point when I too was filling in my eyebrows on a daily basis and ignoring my natural features. As fate would have it, my eyebrows are rather thin. Throughout my life, I've become fully comfortable with that — but it was a process. I endured many jokes before finally reaching a sense of satisfaction with my natural features.
Self-awareness and acceptance gave me the power to laugh at my friend’s aforementioned joke. I’ve even reached a point where I not only accept my eyebrows as they are, but I can accentuate them as well. There are times when I fill them in to be extra dark, just so it’s apparent how thin they actually are. Instead of feeling ugly, I feel like a sleek celebrity who’s about to hang out with my famous crew at an NYC nightclub.
