"We're committed to meeting our customer's needs and are working with our suppliers to ensure continued access to these items," CVS said in an emailed statement.Equitable distribution is a critical consideration for both manufacturers and retailers, Brikman said.
And there are alternatives to the popular liquid versions of the fever reducers. Older children might be able to have the chewable form, Brikman said.
