Epic Games' exclusive catalog of titles consists largely of timed exclusives such as Goat Simulator 3, Sifu, and 2022's Saints Row reboot. However, the company has recently found a way to retain exclusivity for some titles by assisting with development via its new publishing label, Epic Games Publishing. This is the case with Fortnite and the upcoming Alan Wake 2, although not with the new Witcher game, despite Epic Games' partnership with developers CD Projekt Red.
While Epic Games has played a part in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria's marketing by sharing its trailers on the company's YouTube account, the title is developed by Free Range Games and is published by North Beach Games, not Epic Games Publishing. Therefore, it's possible that the title could come to Steam and other PC launchers in the future, although there has yet to be an official announcement regarding this.
