After both Daddy’s Home movies performed well at the box office, the question remains: will there be a Daddy’s Home 3? Released in 2015, Daddy’s Home reunited The Other Guys’ central duo of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg for a more family-friendly comedy. Ferrell plays Brad Whitaker, a mild-mannered stepdad eager to win over his wife’s kids, while Wahlberg plays Dusty Mayron, their badass biological father that Brad can never live up to.
Daddy's Home 3 Not Confirmed While the possibility of Daddy’s Home 3 has been floated around in various interviews with the cast and crew, the threequel has not been confirmed to be in development at Paramount. Daddy’s Home 2 was officially announced with Ferrell and Wahlberg returning in April 2016 , just four months after the first movie was released in theaters.
Daddy's Home 3 Release Date Info Since there’s no confirmation that Daddy’s Home 3 will even get made, the threequel doesn’t have a release date on Paramount’s schedule. Daddy’s Home 2 was released just two years after its predecessor. Going off of that trajectory, Daddy’s Home 3 should’ve been released in 2019.
