'The Good Doctor' Season 4 has been confirmed by ABC—but there could be a release date delay for the next season of the Freddie Highmore medical drama.
On 3/30/20 at 6:00 PM EDT's current season comes to an end on March 30, with one cast member hinted to die in the second part of the season's climactic two-parter. Things might be over for one character, but the show is set to continue, withIn a statement, ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke said:"has been a cornerstone on Monday nights and is one of those special heartfelt series that fearlessly tackles inclusivity.
Sony Pictures Television co-president Jason Clodfelter added:"We are incredibly thankful to ABC for all their continued support and to David Shore for bringingto television at the exact right moment; the show's complicated, surprising and emotional journey is the perfect prescription for right now."The previous seasons have all aired on the penultimate Monday of September in 2017, 18 and 19 respectively.
