SOCAL MEGA MILLIONS WIN: One ticket that matched 5/6 numbers was sold in Riverside and will pay $928,260
Two of those tickets were sold in California: one at a Chevron in Burlingame and the other at a Stater Bros supermarket in Riverside. Each are worth $928,260, according to California Lottery officials.Friday the 13th might end up being someone's lucky day. The Mega Millions jackpot has reached an estimated $1.35 billion -- the second-largest in the lottery's history -- for the drawing set on Friday.
The estimated jackpot is surpassed only by the lottery's record of $1.537 billion won in South Carolina in 2018, the lottery said. The Mega Millions' massive jackpot topped the billion-dollar mark after nearly three months with no winning ticket drawn.
