Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears slammed President Joe Biden's attempts to blame energy prices on Russia's invasion of Ukraine on Thursday, saying"the American people aren’t stupid" and aren't falling for it.
Of the president's response to rampant inflation, Sears told the Washington Examiner,"We ought to continue to drill," adding that"he should open the Keystone Pipeline."The lieutentant governor praised the president for news that he is releasing one-third of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve but said,"We should’ve replenished it when President Trump wanted to do so."
