Two Walnut Creek readers are reporting back on their Galapagos Island adventures.

“We spotted and photographed many animals and birds endemic to the islands, including the Blue-Footed Booby, which was one of the highlights, besides snorkeling with friendly penguins and playful sea lions. Also, a visit to the Tortoise Reserve and the Charles Darwin Research Station were included.”“There are land/hotel tours available, but we believe one sees much more by cruising,” Trudie says. “There are several cruise lines that sail around the islands.
