Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner was suspended by the WNBA for three games in the aftermath of a near brawl with the Dallas Wings on Saturday night.

Six players were ejected in the fourth quarter Saturday after Anigwe, a rookie, pulled Griner's arm, then struck her in the head. Griner tried to punch Anigwe, then chased her, leading to players and coaches from both teams coming onto the court. Griner also was suspended for seven games in 2015 following her arrest in relation to a domestic violence incident.
