A woman has been charged in the death of her boyfriend. The 32-year-old man died last month at the couple's apartment in Clear Lake, with the couple's young children home at the time.Cervantes called police at about 8:45 p.m. on March 20. When officers arrived at the apartment in the 16300 block of El Camino Real, they found Freeman dead in a pool of blood by the front door.
Cervantes reportedly told police that she and Freeman had been drinking and arguing when she blacked out. She said she briefly woke up when water was splashed on her before blacking out again.
