Woman fatally shot in front of north Houston convenience store, police say

A woman with gunshot wounds in her head and leg died in a northwest Houston convenience store Saturday night, according to the Houston Police Department. Officers found the woman shot in the 13300 block of Northborough Drive after receiving a calls around 8:28 p.m., Lt. Ignacio Izagurrie with the Houston Police told On Scene reporters. She was found lying by the front door of a convenience store, police told Metro Video Services.North Belt Patrol officers are on the scene of a shooting in the 13300 block of Northborough. One female pronounced deceased.
