A woman was found dead along a beach in south Boston early Monday morning, according to Massachusetts State Police.

A spokesman for the Massachusetts State Police said troopers responded to a scene at Carson Beach just before 7 a.m.State police described the woman as an adult female but did not identify her. Her cause of death was not immediately known. Authorities said the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy.
"The investigation by the State Police Detective Unit for Suffolk County, State Police Crime Scene Services, and Troop H into the death is underway," state police said in a statement.reported another was found at a Cape Cod beach the previous night. The media outlet reported a man's body was discovered in an abandoned vehicle at Scusset Beach State Reservation in Bourne.
"The death does not appear to be suspicious," according to The Herald. “Preliminary investigation by the State Police Detective Unit for the Cape and Islands District and the State Police Crime Scene Services Section has thus far found no evidence of foul play.”
