UPDATE: The person who was found dead in a duffel bag on the edge of Golden Gate Park has been identified as a 37-year-old San Francisco woman, officials say.
A woman's body was found in a duffel bag Sunday on the edge of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, police said.
Police were called at about 7:30 p.m. to the area of Fulton Street and 22nd Avenue, not far from the Outside Lands music festival.Officials on Monday identified the woman as 37-year-old Kelly Koike of San Francisco. Her cause of death wasn't immediately released, but the San Francisco County Medical Examiner did declare her death suspicious.Sign up for NBC Bay Area’s Housing Deconstructed newsletter.
