UPDATE: Police provided new details after a woman was shot and killed while sitting in her car in Philadelphia early Monday evening:
The unidentified woman in her 30’s was sitting in a tan Honda Civic along the 500 block of East Louden Street at 5:57 p.m. when at least two shooters inside a white SUV opened fire, according to investigators.
The woman was shot in the chest, neck and face, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:05 p.m.Get Philly local news, weather forecasts, sports and entertainment stories to your inbox.Cameras in the area recorded the white SUV stopping before the gunmen got out and started shooting in her direction, police said. The SUV was then seen fleeing the area.
There were 100 people, including a local football team, in the playground across the street at the time of the shooting.
