The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. in the front yard of a house in the 300 block of Scotty Drive, San Antonio police said. A vehicle — police didn't have a description of it — pulled up in front of the house, where people were milling around the front yard. Someone in the vehicle began shooting at the gathering.A woman in her 20s was hit in her head and shoulder during the shootout, police said. Emergency medical personnel took her to Brooke Army Military Medical Center in critical condition.
