'Two females in a vehicle had ordered food in their drive-thru and that one of the occupants was asking for help and stated that she had been kidnapped,' the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said in a news release.
Police have launched an urgent search after an interaction at a Wendy's drive-thru alarmed employees. According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, a woman in a car told the Wendy's store clerk that she had been kidnapped.
"Two females in a vehicle had ordered food in their drive-thru and that one of the occupants was asking for help and stated that she had been kidnapped," a press release from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police stated.Investigators say that the possible victim is an African-American woman who is “approximately 40-60 years old with dark skin complexion,” the Charlotte Observer reported.
