– A 52-year-old woman, wanted in Jacksonville Beach for exploitation of the elderly, was found Thursday in Missoula, Montana. Jacksonville Beach police said they began their investigation December 12.
For about a year, the victim, a disabled 83-year-old man, was defrauded out of approximately $140,000. The suspect was identified as a caretaker who had abandoned the victim in late 2022 and moved to another city. On Thursday, Jacksonville Beach police obtained an arrest warrant for Marcela Marabelli and she was taken into custody by Missoula Police.
