WASHINGTON — A Justice Department inspector general report on the early days of the Russia investigation identified problems that are “unacceptable and unrepresentative of who we are as an institution,” FBI Director Chris Wray said Monday in detailing changes the bureau plans to make in response.
He said he did not think that those changes would impede or slow the FBI's efforts in future national security investigations. Story continuesAsked if he disagreed with those comments, Wray said he and Barr have “an excellent working relationship” and repeated that the FBI fully accepted the inspector general's conclusions.
