Around 2:17 a.m., a black Honda Pilot traveling in the wrong direction near College Point Boulevard in Queens collided with another Honda of unknown make traveling south, cops said. The 45-year-old male driver of the southbound Honda was pronounced dead at the scene, according to NYPD officials. Of the three occupants in the wrong-way car, a 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, a 35-year-old woman was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in critical condition, and a 26-year-old man who had been ejected from the car was taken to the same hospital in stable condition.Southbound sections of the Expressway were closed around 3 a.m., police said, but they were unable to say what lanes had been reopened since.
