For the Yankees, second baseman Gleyber Torres, who was the team’s most consistent player in 2023, is set to earn a big increase in his final year of arbitration eligibility before declaring for free agency in 2024 - barring an extension, of course.Last season, the two-time All-Star earned $9.95 million, a $3.7 million increase from the year prior. This season, MLB Trade Rumors is projecting Torres, who posted a .273 batting average with .800 OPS in 158 games, to earn $15.
