You season 3 had a lot of murdering, but the final death of the season was the wrong choice to make.
In the end, Joe manages to get the better of her. It seemed clear that it was going to come down to one of them or the other, and after Love tried to poison Joe and chop him up, he managed to pre-consume the antidote and then injected her with a heavier dose of her own poison. She died, and he managed to blame all the recent killings on her, all the while faking his own death, and living another day to go chase after Marianne, his latest crush .beat Joe and manage to kill him.
I have no doubt that Pedretti will continue to find success. She had huge roles in the last two Haunting shows on Netflix, and is now starring in Lucky, a film adaptation of a book by The Lovely Bones’ author. But I also would not have minded her hijacking You from Penn Badgley, who has been great also, and yet Joe himself feels like he’s run his course in a lot of ways.
