When the WGA strike first began, however, other Young Sheldon stars, such as Raegan Revord, Zoe Perry, and Lance Barber, also showed up on the picket line.
Is Young Sheldon Season 7 Delayed? Not long after the WGA went on strike back in May, CBS maintained its usual programming layout for fall 2023, which meant that Young Sheldon and other scripted projects were still expected to come back after the summer. This gave hope that the matter would be resolved quickly, with the broadcaster being optimistic that the issue will be resolved in time before The Big Bang Theory prequel's production.
For now, there's no end in sight for the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, and it's difficult to say when it will be settled. Beyond Young Sheldon being delayed, however, there's a bigger issue plaguing the industry. The writers and actors are fighting for appropriate wages, particularly with regard to residuals from streaming. Armitage, Shawn, and the majority of the cast of the prequel clearly understand that.
