OGDEN, Utah —According to Ogden police, the crash was reported around 2:45 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and 21st Street in Ogden.
Police said the collision happened when a male driver in a truck was traveling southbound in the 2000 block of Lincoln Avenue. Upon reaching the intersection, located at Lincoln Avenue and 21st Street, the truck came to a stop at the stop sign. At the same time, the motorcyclist was heading eastbound in the 100 block of 21st Street, according to police, when he entered the intersection.
The driver of the truck failed to notice the oncoming motorcyclist and continued into the intersection, resulting in a collision with the rider.The crash remained under investigation, police said there was no suspicion of impairment.
