'The advice I would give to anyone wanting to make a change in their life is to never give up, and every step forward is an accomplishment no matter how slow.' ❤️
My friends are always ribbing me about my speed, and I do want to. For me though, as long as I’m healthy and keep putting one foot in front of the other, I’m happy.
I’m signed up for my second half marathon this year. It’ll be exciting to see how it goes compared to the first. I’m nearly 60 pounds lighter this time, but I’m not afraid of coming in last. I am still a very slow runner, but I keep moving forward. I am still doing something that is great for me, so I’m grateful for every step.
The advice I would give to anyone wanting to make a change in their life is to never give up, and every step forward is an accomplishment no matter how slow. And if you fall backward, the important thing to remember is to get back up. The adventures continue.
