, “Fall On Me,” later in the evening at the event, explains why she wanted to work with them again after they collaborated on “Say Something” in 2013.. “I have to feel that it's coming to me and I'm doing it for a purpose. And the guys just write from such a place of truth. And to me, being a truth-seeker and a truth-teller, those are the things that resonate with me.”
“When you get absorbed in the business, which I've been in this for a long time, I think you stray away from who you really are,” she continues. “So this song tonight, ‘Fall on Me,’ is such a beautiful song. I have such a great time with them. ‘Say Something’ is…such a connector between me and my fans, every time I do it for concert, but tonight, we're bringing another one, and it's got a very spiritual and loving sense.
“Those guys, they really know how to recruit some superstars,” she says of Disney. “Miley had a Disney background, too. And Ariana I think. They just know how to cast some great people and great kids who just go on to big things. So, yes,MMC, that was my old stomping ground. So always a Disney girl.
