A lawsuit against Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones over a woman’s assault allegation will move forward after a Texas appellate court reversed a lower court’s order

The Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas at Dallas said in its opinion Monday that the lower court had abused its discretion by dismissing the personal-injury lawsuit. The justices noted the woman who filed the lawsuit had made a “good faith attempt” to comply with requests for more information about her identity and the alleged incident.
