Alexandra Tanguay, VP of Global Brand at Spotify, shares how she 'worked it' in her career:
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a doctor. I think it was because my older sister was very interested in the medical industry, which she now works in. As many little sisters do, I looked up to her and wanted to do everything she wanted to do—until you get to a certain point where you realize you’re your own person with your own identity.
When you first start out your career, you’re super bright-eyed and excited to have a job where you’re able to rub elbows with really intelligent and dynamic people—to just learn and exist as a sponge. Where I am now, you’re challenged with leading an organization. There’s a lot of time in between where you’re figuring yourself out.
