He played the kid when Hayden's number came up. He didn't keep him on the sideline. When will we stop acting like this is a story, or that Day did something wrong with the comments he made? He obviously was speaking in hypotheticals, answering a question during a press conference in a fairly generic way, and when the situation changed he changed along with it.
I understand that every word the head coach says is going to be dissected and critiqued and overanalyzed, but this is a non-story in my opinion. If Hayden is the best back available he is clearly going to be utilized. This is a forum post from a site member.
