Police said the suspects placed about $5,000 in cash into a trash can and fled from the Walgreens in a black Chevrolet Impala.
Officers said a woman was found shot inside her apartment and transported to a local hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time, but police said she’s stable.According to DPD, officers were called to the 9900 block of Bruton Road in response to a shooting at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15.
DPD said the preliminary investigation determined that an armed uniformed security guard confronted two suspects who were breaking into a car. One suspect allegedly pulled a gun, and the security guard drew his weapon and fired multiple shots, DPD said. Officers said a woman was found shot inside her apartment and transported to a local hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time, but police said she’s stable.Police have not said if the juveniles returned fire at the security guard or whose responsible for shooting the victim. The investigation is ongoing, and the case has been referred to the Dallas County Grand Jury, police said.
