Paxton claims Texans for Lawsuit Reform instigated the House impeachment proceedings. Not true. TLR found out about the House investigation of Paxton the minute other Texans did — when the House General Investigating Committee began its May 24 public hearing.

Ken Paxton has been happy to take nearly $1.5 million in contributions from TLRPAC to his campaigns. His lies about TLR are made absurd by the fact that they are so easily disproved by public records showing TLRPAC’s support of him.
