There is a lot of curling karma with the Knapps. There are the family ties between Kelly and Trent. Kelly is also married to Breanne, whose father Rob Meakin was a 1985 Canadian men’s and world champion while curling out of Winnipeg. Kelly and Breanne met at the 2010 Canadian junior championships in Quebec.Article contentRegina Leader-Post

She has reached three Canadian women’s championships, but has taken time off to raise the Knapps’ nine-month old son, James.
