Melanie Griffith posted a new Instagram video in early July of her workout with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson.
Griffith, 61, does a variety of strength training and cardio exercises to help her stay fit and healthy.Melanie Griffith hasn't been in the Hollywood screen for a while, but it doesn't mean the Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner isn't any less an on-screen siren. The 61-year-old actress recently posted an"Ok. I have been working out with Gunnar, @gunnarfitness for 7 years. I ADORE THIS MAN!! He helps me keep my 50+11 year old body tight and strong.
In her workout video, Griffith performs a variety of strength and cardio exercises, including leg lifts, weighted alternating lunges with rotation, cable pull-downs, barbell bicep curls, and work on the elliptical. Exercising in different ranges and planes of motion is especially important as you age because you lose muscle mass more easily and may start to experience joint pain.
