Michigan is expected to become the first state to ban flavored electronic cigarettes, a move prompted by the governor Wednesday as U.S. authorities investigate the products’ possibly harmful effects on health.
The ban prohibits the sale of flavored vaping products in retail stores and online, as well as any marketing that portrays the products as clean, safe and healthy. It doesn’t apply to tobacco-flavored e-cigarettes.
