As seen in this week’s Chagrin Falls police blotter, A nursing home staff member reported a patient, 67, was rolling a marijuana joint the morning of Aug. 10 and they wanted a police officer to take it from him. The responding officer questioned the patient who said he was a grown man and would not surrender the marijuana. The contraband was not in plain sight and the officer asked if the nursing staff could search the patient. They advised they could not. A report was filed to document the incident.
