Oceanside appoints 22-year department veteran to serve as new police chief [Breaking]
The Oceanside city manager announced Friday that Kedrick Sadler, a 22-year employee of the Oceanside Police Department, has been appointed police chief effective Saturday.
Councilmember Rick Robinson, formerly the city’s fire chief, said Friday he was pleased with the selection of Sadler, who was one of three captains considered within the department. “This is just going to be a seamless transition,” he said. “It will enable us to do the things we want to do.”
