After battling breast cancer for the better part of the last year, the survivor was all set to return to her classroom when she received a call.
Parma's Greenbriar Middle School fifth-grade ELA teacher Donna Kucera received quite the surprise a few weeks ago. “We’re so thrilled to have Donna back,” Parma City Schools Superintendent Charles Smialek said. “I went through 16 rounds of chemo and then I had surgery June 2,” she said. “They sent everything to the lab and all of the margins were clear.
