The San Fernando Valley’s automotive superstarhas died at 92, leaving behind a legacy of selfless leadership at the world’s number one Ford dealership, Galpin Motors, a tight-knit family bound by love and an unbeatable track record of community service.
“The thing that had the biggest impact at Galpin and the biggest impact in our family is the true love that he had in his heart for people from all walks of life,” said his sonBoeckmann died on the second anniversary of the Galpin Motors celebrated 60 years of Bert Boeckmann and Galpinizing on Sunday, September 22, 2015 at their North Hills, CA facilities with a carshow, go cart track, BBQ, Music and activities for kids. Galpin’s private collection was open to the public.
In addition to his family and his dealership, Boeckmann’s third great love was the San Fernando Valley itself.
