Tiger Woods had pointed words for Greg Norman when asked Tuesday if LIV Golf and the PGA Tour can ever co-exist.
Woods said he never would have expected to see the men’s game go this sideways a year ago when LIV was a mere rumor.
“But the animosity, the angst and then the players leaving and then the way they showed their disregard or disrespect to the Tour that helped them get to that point ,” Woods said. “Their leadership has to change.” Woods and Norman have a long history of disdain for one another. Norman, a former longtime world No. 1, has always felt that Woods ignored and disrespected him as he was making his rise to the top.Norman, too, has spent much of his career with an acrimonious relationship with the PGA Tour.
