The former Ohio State and Florida coach is confident in who he thinks will win the game on Saturday.
, he dropped a crucial prediction in favor of the Longhorns over Kansas this week. Meyer expressed that while he likes how far No. 24 Kansas has come, he still is taking No. 3 Texas to win on Saturday.
“I think they beat Kansas,” said Meyer. “I’m not taking away from Kansas. I just like Lawrence, too. I’ve been there a couple of times. I just never quite understood why Lawrence, Kansas can’t, can’t have a good quality football team. And now they have a good quality football coach. So I hope this coach stays there because he’s really doing a great job there.”Texas is hoping to replicate their showing from last season which saw them blow out Kansas by a score of 55-14.
